TAMIU Office - Service-Learning Center is requesting assistance with the following volunteer opportunity:

TAMIU Garden Fall Bed Prep Day!

5201 University Blvd.
TAMIU Garden located behind Rec Center

Mission:
Help us get our TAMIU Garden beds ready for planting!

At the volunteer event, volunteers should report to:
Cihtlalli Perez

Volunteer Shift:
Shift 1- 8:00am – 12:00pm

Are volunteers required to stay the entire shift?
Yes

Is it required to sign-up for this event in order to volunteer?
Yes, deadline to sign-up is – Friday, September 27, 2019.

Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers will help fill the Garden beds with soil to prepare them for planting season. Volunteers will work with basic garden tools (shovels and wheel barrows) to move soil into beds.

Dress Code:
Gardening attire is suggested, which includes: hats, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, gloves (limited quantities available at site).
